Hi, can someone explain me how to set up a device layout?

I know there was a way to copy channels from the field to the device layout edit screen but I can’t remember the way it worked.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jeroen.

You Just type the channel number then double click into the layout editor window.
If you want to insert a serie of channels, type the first number, press and hold ALT on the console or the PC keyboard, and double click several times at different places. It will insert the relevant channels one by one.

For any other kind of window objects, such as groups, palettes, looks… You just drag’n drop from their respective window into layout editor window.

To complete, if you need to draw Rectangles for pipes for example, you press CTRL on your keyboard and draw the rectangle.
You can then switch it to a text block, changing the type in the small scrolling list below. And change the color as well.
    See attached screenshot.

Would you be able to copy the drawn shapes and prepared texts, eg by copy paste? many times it would be practical to use many repetitive subtitles and to edit the text individually requires quite a few steps.

    No copy/paste in this window.
